DRIFTWOODS

Our driftwoods come from special areas where the passage of time has shaped these preserved tree branches into unique objets d' art.  We use only the best quality driftwoods, which do not emit a yellow tint in the water.  Our driftwoods are carefully selected so that each one has a beautiful shape.  Available sizes are small, medium, large, and extra large. Driftwoods can be used as follows:

• Artificial Bonsai - the natural curves and texture lends itself well in imitating the real bonsai trunks. Just attach some artificial branches and leaves and the results are breathtaking!
• Aquarium Decoration - The driftwoods can be used in fresh or salt water aquariums as centerpieces. Moss can be put on the larger sizes for added beauty. It also serves as ideal hiding places for smaller fishes.
• Landscape Decoration - Larger size driftwoods can be integrated into landscaping designs to mimic aged tree trunks. Plants can be hung from the driftwood, or attached to it directly (for example orchids). The driftwood will weather well, and will look better over time.

CHARACTERISTICS

Philippine driftwoods are unique in the following ways:

• Negative Bouyancy - The driftwoods will not float when placed underwater. This makes them suitable as aquarium decoration.
• Dark Color - The natural color of Philippine driftwoods is dark brown color. Each driftwood also has some ligher or darker colors in certain areas.
• Will not discolor water - The driftwoods have no coloring added, therefore there are no chances that the color will leak out and stain the water.
